As a pet owner myself, I think it's safe to agree that most pet owners want the best from our Pets!
I love Dogs as much as the next Dog owner but of course most of us could agree that barking too much is probably just as annoying as having a kid keep asking you about a Toy that they want when you've already told him or her 'NO' 3 times..
Excessive barking can be managed with consistent training.
Only bark when it's needed. Not when you're trying to get some sleep at night.
I've personally have had a few pet cats in the past who would go from being chill to just all of a sudden biting my hand as I pet them..
The cause of why some Cats bite can be from Overstimulation. Which happens during petting or play, even if they were enjoying the attention at first.
I just dismissed it as the cat having mood swings and actually didn't pet the cat as much after that..
Another reason can be from Pain or Medical Issues. You may accidentally pet over a sensitive area but the Cat that we had most likely did that because of overstimulation..
The list can go on with some of the bad habits that both Dogs and Cats can develop, such as:
Cat scratching on the furniture, or swatting at people - Scratching the Furniture may be by natural instincts because it helps remove dead claw sheaths to keep them sharp. Swatting at people may sometimes be a form of fear or when they don't really know someone or it could be done in a playful manner.
Puppies who chew on Shoes, Pillows, or anything that they can find - This is of course done, especially from younger Dogs, because they are "teething". Other times it can be a sign of boredom or being wound up like a spring from lack of exercising.
Cats also like to knock items off of Tables and other surfaces - Which can stem from Lack of Stimulation from not having toys, climbing areas, or enough interaction. Another reason could be attention-seeking behavior from boredom and they are trying to get your attention!
Both Cats and Dogs peeing and pooping everywhere from not being properly potty trained - Proper potty training IS included in this eBook since it's one of the first things you want to train your pet before anything else, in my opinion.
Dogs getting into the Trash, drinking from the Toilet - Getting into the trash could be from an attractive smell (at least attractive for the Dog) because some of the trash could be tissues with their owners scent, some wrappers that smell like a certain food that the dog loves. Drinking from the toilet could be from boredom or habit!
That's just to name a few..
Which is why I'm promoting The Ultimate Guide to training your Dogs and Cats eBook.
